In this 90-minute online workshop, learn how to move from individual money management to incorporating collective resource-sharing and mutual support, while navigating the emotional, cultural, and practical barriers.

In this workshop, you’ll learn to:

  • Build practical tools for collective finance, mutual aid, and shared expenses
  • Navigate the challenges, emotions, risks, and rewards of sharing resources
  • Build trust, agreements, and healthy money conversations
  • Create long-term plans for collective care and shared security

What’s the workshop going to be like?

  • This is a live, remote workshop given on zoom. Closed captions are available. 
  • A recording and workbook will be sent out afterwards, so if you can’t attend you can still get the info.
  • There will be a slideshow, lecture-style discussion, exercises, and a few opportunities to discuss and ask questions. 

The workshop is organized into three sections, in which we explore:

  • 1 / collective finance concepts, approaches, and ideas
  • 2 / practices people need to do these things
  • 3/ common things that get in the way
