Folks, a PSA: Literally everyone has feelings of money shame, class confusion, or financial fearfulness… across class race gender sexuality — you name it.
That’s because it doesn’t come from inside us. We have not created some personal fuck up to generate these feelings: they’re exactly how capitalism is supposed to work. So, knowing that, can you be a bit kinder to yourself?
The struggle is more real for some people that others of course, that’s why talking about money & class – and doing it intersectionally – is important.
Here’s to everyone in the struggle. And fuck capitalism.
