Hello self-employed and small business babes, it's Hello self-employed and small business babes, it's me, your local nerd who likes to remind you that you don't need to be good at math to look ahead at your business and estimate your take-home earnings after expenses and taxes. ⁠ ⁠ It can be a scrap of paper exercise like this, or a whole spreadsheet and strategy [which we can do together in coaching if you want] - just please here at the 1/2 way part of the year, take some time to estimate:⁠ ⁠ 1 / revenue - from each different source⁠ 2/ expenses - ongoing and one-offs⁠ 3/ taxes - do not forget, cus the state and feds won't play when it's their time⁠ 4 / the money left for you to consider spendable income⁠ ⁠ A forecast is a diagnostic tool! A thing to make you want to take action! Not just a PDF to shove in a digital corner <3⁠ ⁠ Who's done forecasting and found it useful? Or gotten stuck trying?
