For two-way mixed-effect models, there are two ICC definitions: “absolute consistency” and “coherence.” The choice of the CCI definition depends on whether we feel that absolute consistency between advisors is more important. Absolute agreement refers to when different advisors assign the same score to the same subject. The measurements were repeated three times for each patient. He analyzed his data using a measured and absolute chord model, mixed 2-way effects and reported his ICC results in a specialized icc journal – 0.78 with a 95% confidence interval – 0.72-0.84. Based on the CCI results, he concluded that the test reliability of his new method is “moderate to” good. A statement on fixed distortions is therefore not relevant to the calculation of the ICC, but can be considered as information on how the researcher intends to proceed .
